@ElwoodBlues Trump was president when the vaccine was first rolled out and he endorsed it. Trump's endorsing the vaccine didnt have much weight with his voters. Most of them have been witness to years of lies by the government and deceit by the pharmaceutical industry. And as far as Farrakhan goes..... his influence goes well beyond 30,000 members of the nation of Islam. There are plenty of black folks outside of Islam who are influenced by Ministers Farrakhans words. Minister Farrakhan called the vaccine "toxic waste" and further stated that the vaccine was the white man's "death plan" for African Americans and other minorities.

"Minister Farrakhan" with his church of 30,000 is a minimally influential guy who loves to get in the news by saying outrageous things. Oral Roberts' son Richard, after his scandal, has 10X the influence of "Minister Farrakhan."
Right wing media uses "Minister Farrakhan" to stir up outrage; that's all that's happening here. Feel free to get all hot and bothered by "Minister Farrakhan" but he's nobody.

@ElwoodBlues check vax rates for the Bronx in NYC. Also check demographics for the Bronx. Over half a million people live in the Bronx and none of them voted for Orange .
@AthrillatheHunt On Aug 3, the Bronx was 51% with at least one dose. As of Sept 28th, they are at 65% with at least one dose (these numbers include kids). At present, the USA is 65% vaccinated. The Bronx used to be behind, but has caught up with the national average.
