Anyone can make up statistics. 11% of the population know that. 馃槀

@stratosranger and 72% of one eyed bandits would agree
It鈥檚 funny how many people STILL believe the media or that anything they say is true. Goes to show that there are still plenty of stupid a-holes around. @carpediem

@stratosranger The fraud who started the anti vaccine movement was a man named Andrew Wakefield:

You know people are right to criticize certain aspects but from what I found, the same people who severely distrust anything the media says will replace "the media" with another media. Ironically, media that's been proven to be false numerous times. To develop that severe distrust of vaccines, you'd have to trust the person who presented you with that information to be correct. You'd also have to be more than willing to accept anecdotal evidence.

So when you talk about "a-holes believing in the media" does that critique lend itself to you also?

@SatanBurger Several years back, Trump was a major anti-vaxxer too; with dozens of anti-vaxx tweets. Trump seems to have been persuaded by "Doctor" Jenny McCarthy, an "investigator" whose earlier body of work was widely published in the anatomical "journals" of Mr Hugh Hefner.

Yes, it's true! One of the most influential anti-vaxxers is a former Playboy nude model who never went to college. I couldn't make that up if I tried!! She had an autistic child and decided it was all due to a vaccination that happened at the same time that autism symptoms usually present. And she is just the sort of "intellectual" that Trump likes to mix with.
@SatanBurger How about personal experience? A nephew of mine who was a perfectly healthy and lively boy until he received his vaccinations. And after that he was listless and dull. Lo and behold the same boy who was so happy and energetic and lively was now diagnosed as autistic. So take your political spin and shove it hard and deep. Go ahead and trust the liars. I hope you get fucked good. I hope it鈥檚 deeply personal. Maybe then you鈥檒l get it. And when you do don鈥檛 go crying to anyone. Accept that you are a blind sheep and got exactly what you deserved.

@stratosranger They did studies and found that more unvaccinated children also get autism. Why? Largely genetic. It also takes awhile for autism to develop, some kids will show symptoms 24 months after they're born but some will be way after 24 months. So no it's not experience at all, it's just something that happens.

It's very likely he had issues before, you just didn't realize it because he was so young and you blame vaccines rather than seeing how it really was. No vaccine causes autism, this is scientifically accepted.

@ElwoodBlues That's scary knowing who the people leading the anti vaccine movement really are and that thousands believe them.

@SatanBurger I have a friend who blames her sons learning disability on shots he received as an infant .
SatanBurger36-40, F
@AthrillatheHunt I think parents just want something to blame.
