Interesting poll of which demographics are refusing the vaccine

@AthrillatheHunt Yes, it covers the whole nation, and most of the nation, at the time of the poll, hadn't suffered the overflowing hospitals that NYC had in the first wave. I would expect New Yorkers, based on that first wave experience, to be much more willing to be vaccinated.

@ElwoodBlues most NYers yes but the rate for vax is very low in certain communities (and I don’t mean Orange loyalists ).

@AthrillatheHunt Israel is one of the most fully vaccinated countries in the world, yet about 11% (one million) remain unvaccinated, presumably on religious grounds.

@ElwoodBlues the Hasidim are one of 2 NYC communities with low vax rates .

@AthrillatheHunt Thanks, that's what I was angling towards. I bet the other community is worried about certain undocumented members.

@ElwoodBlues the other community is born here and has many jobs in local and state government .
That’s why local government has mandated vax for all govt workers .
It’s the only way to get them to vax

Brooklyn & the Bronx are about as unvaccinated as Florida! That's a disaster in the making.
