how to 'take heart' and keep going

basically i've put on weight again around my stomach and waist, after many years back and losing 3 stone, because i was overweight and acquired diabetes type 2, so i needed to do something about it...so i lost 3 stone and got slim...but now i have put on weight again around my stomach and waist, and i feel disheartened...like the wind has gone out of my sails...after all the hard work i put in.


i still keep up the swimming a couple times a week....but it must be what i'm eating as to why i have put on the weight again..


any encouraging words you can say or advice or just, how to take heart and not lose hope?
