Does it actually scare people? For me I just hate second hand smoke regardless of what it is. To each their own who want to do it. I drink. Same difference. But unless I spill on someone they are not getting 2nd

@BearDownChicago but would you be ok with edibles? Or vaporizers? Cause many wouldn't. They seem to think it's a gateway drug.
@BearDownChicago Alcohol is poison, Cannabis is not.

@chickiegirl95. Fine with edibles. It doesn’t impact others like 2nd hand. Although vapes not a huge fan of just from what I read to the impact of lungs and heart
@BearDownChicago Here's a surprise you may find, Cannabis actually protects the lungs, as shown by a 20 odd year study funded by the American Lung Association, and recorded in the Journal of the Amaerica Medical Association.

@NativePortlander1970 I’d argue both are. One more acute than the other but both unhealthy long term. I think there are benefits to cannabis as well. I’m just saying that just like cigarettes, if that is how someone chooses to use it, be respectful of others around. I don’t want my kids exposed to it legal or not
@BearDownChicago Study after study, for instances the LaGuardia Commite, and the Shafer Commission, BOTH have concluded that Cannabis is harmless.

@NativePortlander1970 again. It is just respecting others.
@BearDownChicago What if one of your children develops cancer, what would you trust, nature, or Rockefeller "medicine", chemo, which is a gamble using poisons.

@NativePortlander1970 different context then. If we’re taking a walk down the street or sitting at a restaurant or at a ball game I don’t think it is right that they blow it in my kids face
@BearDownChicago That is why so many states put in stipulations that public imbibing isn't allowed when they legalized, those who do are subject to heavy fines, and possible jail time.

@NativePortlander1970 it’s crazy how many people think it is legal and just assume they can smoke anywhere. Thats my only issue with it. And no way to test like drinking for DUIs. Otherwise to each their own
@BearDownChicago Until they're busted and given a summons to appear in court after they're booked. I have a friend in Northern California where there's a weekly arrest report in the local newspaper, he tells me at least 80% of them are for public imbibing.

@NativePortlander1970 understood but like any other public nuisance crime there is little repercussion
@BearDownChicago Tell that to those who were busted.
