Just Give Me A Sign…

@Sojournersoul Yesterday I was gone for nearly 6 hours. I had to run some errands, then go get a follow-up ultrasound, and did some shopping. I was tired by the time I got home, unloaded the car & put everything away. Sat down with a cup of yogurt in the recliner and ate it got sleepy. Fell asleep and Boo-Boo woke me up with loud repetitive chirping like he wanted me to come over to him. I sat in the wrong chair, the recliner further away from where his cage is. He kept doing & I told him to be quiet because I was sleeping. He knows what sleep means, he’ll ask me sometimes if I have slept after I wake up. I ended up covering myself including my head with my blanket and he shut up. I guess if he couldn’t watch to see a reaction he decided to stop. When I finally woke up and sat next to his cage he didn’t try to get my attention. When we sat down to eat dinner he starts EEPing loudly again like he didn’t want my attention on anyone but him. The things I put up with this bird.

@cherokeepatti You need to write a book calked the adventures of Boo-Boo.

@Sojournersoul I've been saying that to her for a couple of years now! ALL the cute stories she has written here...it's a collection worthy of publication!

@Sojournersoul I would call the book “I don’t want to and you can’t make me” because Boo-Boo is being so bossy with me.

@Sojournersoul I have wondered how much more this bird would learn if parakeets could live as long as the big parrots do. Good grief he would tell everything that is said around here I’m sure. And probably tell me how to do things his way too.
