Why can't I find bean sprouts in the store anymore???

Those look like alfalfa sprouts. Haven't seen them in forever.

They're friendly to germs. It's not as easy as we thought to keep the sprouts sanitary. Growing your own should be cheaper.

Just bought a small container of alfalfa sprouts for a sandwich i like to make. I found them in the co-op i belong to.

If you have any Asian grocery store in your area, they have them fresh in the produce area. Here on Long Island, we have several Asian groceries and the all have superb fruit and vegetable produce departments.

You know, now that you mention that. I haven`t seen them in ages.

Probably because stores can't get rich on them.
