How do you like your bananas?

Do you like them green or just before they are ready for banana bread or somewhere in between?

Right out of green when eaten directly. Idk why but my mouth burns whenever I eat a banana that's ripe, so it's always been right out of green for me.

If they are ripe, even to a severe degree, I will make use of them in a smoothie
