I Love Healthy Food

Kale, green cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, chicory, roasted pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries, poppyseed salad dressing.

I always like to add my own touch to any ready made foods, because they just taste better that way. I chop up some cashews and add sunflower seeds and a chopped up apple.

I love this salad. It's dinner and dessert all at once.

Meat isn't necessary with this because you have plenty of good stuff without it. If you feel the need for more protein, a small piece of rainbow trout is nice as a side dish, fried or broiled with parsley and lemon butter. Or for the vegetarians/vegans, celery sticks with roasted red pepper hummus is also good as well as filling.

Do you eat the brussel sprouts raw?

They are actually sweeter and tastier raw. I still like them steamed with salt and butter on them, but I like them better, raw. It surprised me, but it's a fact.
