It would, of course, be best if you did. Though I don't know who you'd be telling, I've a feeling they may not believe you right off, so it is just a suggestion that you approach it from an angle of "I think I have a problem," then let them make the diagnosis.


I only say this because for some reason - and part of it is probably because they do not want to believe the worst - I feel like people tend to reject the self diagnoses of others. And the diagnosis is not nearly as important a part as getting some help and getting on a better track, for these things snowball so very easily.


I forgot to ask, though, why, why are you afraid to tell anyone?
