Can she actually eat all that?
itsok · 31-35, F
@BlueVeins she eats all of her food between 8pm and 4am. She’ll eat about 75-80% of it by the time I wake up in the morning.
I think it’d look like less food if it were plated together. Those aren’t full sized plates.

@itsok Are possums good at self-regulating?
itsok · 31-35, F
@BlueVeins she will eat what she likes first, rather than what she needs, which is why I plate separately now. She’ll get the foods she needs most as soon as she wakes up, then her next set of food a couple of hours later, and then I add her fruits before I go to bed.
She like to snack throughout the night rather than eating a lot all at once.

She has better dinner options than I do!

@BillyMack she genuinely eats better than I do 😅

Holy smokes. That critter eats better than I do. 😠
That's a lot to choose from. We're going to need a full report on the order she eats things in and how much she finishes each. What's the new thing? The banana?
itsok · 31-35, F
@NerdyPotato banana was one of her first foods when she was transitioning off milk! Collard greens is the new one.

I’ve switched how she eats now, which is why everything is plated separately. She kind of gets it in rounds, with the healthier foods first and the favorites/foods she needs less of last.
The collard greens and shrimp/edamame/spinach fritters will be first, followed by the broccoli in sauce and chicken next, then she can have the soup and bananas last.
@itsok you're such a good possum mom! I hope she saves enough room for the soup and bananas dessert. 😌
