Chick pea curry, surprisingly good!

I've never eaten vegetarian curry before but this was on our menu at work yesterday so I gave it a try at home, simple to make and just as tasty as a chicken or lamb version, a fraction of the price too 😃

I eat primarily vegetarian to avoid red meat for protein and this example you show us here is one of the healthiest choices you can make, as long as you avoid eating meat.

The thing is, I'm not really pushing a vegetarian style diet for others, but only for myself. I've been an athlete since childhood and as I got into my teen years as a gymnast, I had to maintain a very low body mass index (ultra low fat) to achieve my goals involving gymnastics. This was followed by acrobatic gymnastics while in my university days. I just stuck with the diet ever since, though I still do gymnastics everyday at the gym, so it's all still very relevant in my life!

@swirlie Health and fitness is important, I wouldn't dream of damaging my body with junk food and fatty meats. I hike a lot and sometimes suffer with hip pain after several miles so keeping the weight off helps with that.

That's great to hear! Keep up that pace!

I’ve never had curry. Maybe it’s time.

@KarenDuponteDurose1 I'll definitely make it again!
Very true.
Except that it can give one the bottom burps 🤭

@OogieBoogie Are you speaking from experience? 🤣
Being a gentleman, one doesn't suffer such conditions 🫢🤔
