I know a vegan who wont let meat into their home. Seems a bit extreme
I've been vegetarian since my early 20s i let people eat meat in my house but no cross contamination with utensils and whatnot. I mean come to my place for dinner and you know what to expect but im not gonna freak on someone eating McDonald's in my living room
Yep.👍 My husband decided to be vegan for 2years now and he doesn’t mind me eating meat infront of him. Some people don’t realize that it’s not just about them.
Their HOUSE, their rules, right? I mean, I don't ENJOY visiting people who force you to leave your shoes at the door, either...(I mean, you should be given some warning so you can wear your nice socks! AND there is the issue of the frozen toes...)....but if for some reason you actually WANT to enter...a man's home, (or a woman's home)...is his or her castle.
To all campaigners: Freedom of choice should be respected. Don't push a personal agenda onto others and believe you are acting with integrity or in the interest of anything except your own ego.
I have no issue with vegans as a concept but all of the ones I know in person approach it like evangelical Christians and feel the need to convert people to add to some arbitrary tally they are keeping as if converting X number of people will balance some karmic scale.
@Monalisasmith86 I remember when my Grandfather doubled over laughing at a science diet pet food commercial bragging about grains being the main ingredient, he simply asked since when do dogs prefer barley and rice over bloody lamb shanks.
@buriedalive ah well their house their rules .. i thought about being vegetarian in the past but i like roasts and things i do feel sorry for the animals but 🤐
