How I Lost 18 Pounds

I’ve lost 18 pounds recently. And I did it by using a calorie calculator to determine how many calories someone my gender and height needed each day.

Once I figured that out, I prioritized foods that were specifically high in protein, low in carbs and low in calories. High protein foods help your stomach feel full even though you’re on a low calorie diet.

A few more tips I learned.

1. Stay away from frozen food. It’s highly processed and is bad for your appetite.

2. Stay away from foods with large amounts of sugar. Sugar is highly addictive and very fattening.

3. Go to the grocery store and buy ingredients. Cook your own food at home instead of going out to restaurants or eating premade frozen meals.

If the packet of mustard shows calories on it and you use the whole packet you'll know all those calories are on there. If you squirt it from a bottle you could guess how much you used but you wouldn't be sure the exact amount. Slicing turkey the same thing as opposed to packs of sliced turkey.
And maybe you do have a way that lets you know. I just don't know how to do it.
