I Don’t Understand Why I Lost 5 Pounds This Week….

I’ve been eating more fruit every day, Turkish yogurt cheese on gluten-free bread that I made, red meat every day, less salads (but cooked green veggies etc), beans, some rice, and other starches, and if I feel a bit hungry I’ll have a snack. I had been cutting back on carbs in order to lessen my blood sugar levels. But this morning I checked my blood sugar and it was 92, which is about 15-20 points lower than last week.

It's possible that all the roughage is moving things out of your system more quickly.

@4meAndyou It might be the avocados and grass-fed beef that Ray bought. We’ve ate that several times this week. Am thinking something helped clear my liver out or something. I don’t know. I feel good. About the only time I don’t is the day of chemo and a bit of the next day. And if I go shopping and overdo it. Like the 3 stores I went shopping at on Sunday. We didn’t stop for lunch and didn’t eat till we got home later in the afternoon. I felt kind of worn out then, and wanted to sleep every time I ate something later on and even on Monday. After that I felt good.
