You know all the healthy ways to benefit health problems. What is a good one for staying awake? I have dozed off a few times lately at my desk, due to mixed shifts. Coffee and tea don't seem to keep me awake?

@meggie Green tea in the morning does it for me. I have to be careful to not drink it after about 2-3 p.m. or I won’t be able to sleep till way after midnight.

@meggie If you are making it yourself from scratch it needs something added to flavor it. I like lemon juice or lemon juice plus cardamom seeds. Also fresh mint, chai spices or cinnamon is good.

Don't forget that when all those little blood vessels open up, any medications in your blood stream will filter through faster as well!

@4meAndyou I first drank it about 15 years ago to dissolve my gallstones, it’s very effective. It’s also good for removing cholesterol from the liver and getting oxygen to the nerves for healing. It’s a little messy juicing it and cleaning up the juicer parts but I made enough for three days this time. Ray will probably have a glass full tonight.

@4meAndyou Oh yeah one of the nurses at my oncologist’s office told me he started taking beet powder and had to cut back on it because his blood pressure got too low. I’m going to drink beet juice for a while and see what it will do for my blood pressure, it is creeping back up probably because I’ve gained weight. They keep telling me not to worry about my weight but they aren’t the ones who get overheated in the summer and extra weight will make it worse.
