Does anyone on this site drink olive oil?

About the size of a shot glass a day, I'm talking about. I've seen a few things on line about people extolling its hair-enriching, skin glowing, weight reducing properties. Is there any truth in any of their claims? If so, why haven't we heard them before?

My parents grew olives in Spain, we would always have our own olive oil…a plentiful supply. I have never drank it, but I use it for cooking and to dip bread in.
