Does anyone on this site drink olive oil?

About the size of a shot glass a day, I'm talking about. I've seen a few things on line about people extolling its hair-enriching, skin glowing, weight reducing properties. Is there any truth in any of their claims? If so, why haven't we heard them before?

Yeah. But I don't drink olive oil by itself. I only take a little bit in a very small way and you mix with a really good flavored balsamic vinegar and mix it, then take a sip. It's a really good taste together and can make you feel happy on the taste buds lol.

It's kind of the same as those fancy olive oil stores that you can taste different combinations of olive oils and vinegar together as a sample before buying.

But I noticed that it puts you in a good mood because the taste is very tangy or savory with a kick due to the vinegar so tastes good 😊

Olive oil does have benefits but only if you're on specific diets. I couldn't see the standard American diet as being good but if you were doing either Paleo, Mediterranean or keto diets that might be good for your heart who knows.

@SatanBurger the DASH diet recommends it too. It's the most recommended diet to control hypertension.

@basilfawlty89 I heard about the DASH diet, I would love to try it. I think there's benefits to olive oil for sure, I've read on them from medical sources.

I just would take maybe a very small sip of a shot as I noticed that the combination of a really good olive oil and good flavored vinegar does something for my mood rather than health. It does taste good if you're craving something tangy but don't want a dessert as you're trying not to eat a candy bar lol.

@SatanBurger I'm on it, because I have hypertension. I used to have full blown metabolic syndrome, but since losing weight and getting my blood pressure in order, most of the symptoms have subsided. Even my insulin resistance which is genetic is mostly gone.
