Intermittent fasting-thoughts?

I've had some conversations with both ends of the spectrum on whether fasting is a good idea and I am curious to hear of others who have had experiences with fasting.

yes its good. After your evening meal around 6pm, eat nothing else until you wake up in the morning. When people start losing weight by doing this they then are willing to cut their eating time down from 6A to 6P , to something like 6A to 1P. The weight falls off them. Doctors have guides for doing it in case you are worried about bad effects
