What food advice have you given...

Many years ago, when i was foolishly carefree and very ignorant of people's feelings, I was in a pub where we played darts and the landlady had made us a stew. The trouble was it didn't taste ok... left a funny taste in the mouth. Even she agreed it wasn't her to her usual high standard. She asked the room what would make it better. After a few suggestions to do with herbs and spices i finally offered my opinion to 'put it in a blender and make it into a soul' . She went away and we heard the blender do its magic. Soup bowls were handed out and tasting began in earnest. After a few minutes people were looking at the landlady and shaking their heads. She approached me accusing me of not improving her stew come soup.. i had to strongly protest my innocence....and said 'the stew would definitely pour down the sink easier'!!
