Any tips on my Vegan diet?

So I am starting a vegan diet but with only vegetables, nuts and seeds, fruit and I will be adding eggs to the diet. No flour, rice, potatoes, or bread, or meat besides eggs. Do you have any tips, advice, or suggestions for my diet?

I was vegan for about 4 years, and learned that the way you cook something goes a long way towards how much variety you can get from such a small selection of foods. Spices help immensely, so work on your spice cabinet and don't be afraid of salt. Learning to make different kinds of sauces and dressings also will be a good thing to have in your toolbox.

Technically eggs aren't vegan, but start where you can. It's actually cool that you're including eggs in your diet because there's a ton you can do with eggs. Will definitely help to learn different egg recipes so you don't get tired of the same foods.

Certain veggies are tough and can take a while to roast in the oven, and pretty much every other veggie needs to be chopped before consuming, so meal prep helped me a lot. Setting up time to slice and dice and store away all the veggies I bought went a long way towards making cooking easier.

There might be vegan alternatives to meat, cheese, and dairy that have massively improved in quality over the years, so you might want to include them if you can. A sweet little vegan dessert every once in a while will be a nice reward for your efforts.

Just don't feel like you're punishing yourself or view it as a chore, because there really is a ton of variety with vegan foods.

Vegan diets don't have eggs, that's vegetarian dieting. I saw you had another post about trying to be really skinny, it's not going to work if you limit yourself. You want to eat in abundance within reason.

Starting out, I'd do these things:

-I suggest https://nutritionfacts.org/ for a wealth of free info.

-You also don't have to eat clean 100%, if you miss the taste of red meat, impossible burger which you can get at Burger King and in frozen aisles at select supermarkets (Target has frozen Impossible patties in its meat or vegan sections I forget which) so don't be afraid to go there at first. You can also be healthy and eat half clean/half processed sometimes. So if you want a taco salad for instance, don't be afraid to buy some vegan meat and put tons of veggies/starches in to dress it up.

-I also suggest a meal planner of your choice, just type in vegan meal planner if you want. It's not needed but it's easier. So keep in mind I'm not saying you SHOULD get a meal planner but it is way easier.

Lighter is a really good meal planner, they'll let you explore its paid features for a bit but you can have a free account after that, you just won't have paid features. They had tons of recipes that are delicious. You can select from popular vegans and see their recommendations which show up on your meal suggestions for the week or you can randomize based on preferences and play around with it. You can also play around with serving sizes from small, medium, large and extra large for athletes and seeing all the calories/nutrients you are getting or missing from the meal.

It's a really highly customizable planner that you can pay for 14 dollars monthly.

Honestly I'd say don't. It's unhealthy most of the time unless you really know what you're doing macro and nutrient-wise. Might find you don't have a lot of energy.
