Who likes sushi? 😋

8yo is feeling brave today & says she’ll try something new for dinner. I’ve been craving sushi so I’m going to make some. Fingers very firmly crossed that she likes it but I’m not holding my breath lol

I [i]love[/i] sushi! I'm not sure what age my kids started liking it. But you might be able to make a few cooked shrimp rolls or something in case the hamachi & toro don't go over well.

Start her on the salmon and tuna nigiri[sp?], if theres anything she will like its probably that. I guess maybe cali rolls.

@zork0000 maybe on the shrimp... I think the crab would be a bit odd. perhaps in my mind those aren't 'real' sushi, but more like a shrimp cocktail with a little rice. either way, maybe so.

@stound I actually don’t eat fish so make my “sushi” with a load veggies. I guess its technically not real sushi but we call it that lol

I think I like maki rolls with sushi inside the best. The yellowfin tuna is great...and there are maki rolls with cooked deep fried prawns inside...love those!
