When all the world was sleeping..i danced in the rain..when darkness clouds my umbrella, i chose to smile again..

Wondering why what looks like an umbrella is being held by that guy off-center.
And if he isn't holding an umbrella, why is he standing there like a dummy with his arm raised like that.
If he is holding an umbrella, where is it?
