Are internal hyperlinks in PDF files still considered hyperlinks?

I dunno how to explain this lol....

but I'm trying to use my software to create a link that will take the reader to another page within the same document
(eg: "read more about this on page 46" and then if they click on the text it takes them to page 46)

I've been looking for tutorials for how to do this but all I'm getting is how to hyperlink websites <.<

(after all these years of tinkering with graphic design I can't believe I never done this before... shame on me.) 😂

Oh yeah, you can definitely add a hyperlink to a PDF. It's pretty much the same as adding one to a Word document.
@Fishy ah yes, you can convert Word documents to PDF as well.

@SubstantialKick @NerdyPotato I am not very smort 👀
@Fishy this has nothing to do with smartness. If you never stumbled upon that option, there is no way you could have known.
I would call that a hyperlink indeed. And here's how to make different kinds, including to a page within the same document.

@NerdyPotato Too bad I don't use adobe 😩

But yeah... I might be able to find a way to do it in my cheapskate software 😂
@Fishy it probably starts with a hyperlink button in all software. Good luck!
