Edgewater West in Oakland?

Never could get my wife to agree to it. She apparently didn't think I would be satisfied with just watching and being watched. She must have given some thought to it though, and discussed it with the elderly neighbor across the street who was like a Mom figure for her because the neighbor gave us a bottle of champagne "for when you go". But, alas, we never did and then it closed.

@DaveJay I wasn't that close with her, but my wife was. I would never have mentioned it to her, so my wife had to have mentioned it to her and must have indicated she was at least considering it for the neighbor to do that to encourage her. But it had the opposite effect.

I googled it since I had no idea what you are asking, and found it to be a real place that has closed.
The premises has reopened as a whole new facility called Hotel Ibiza.
Sounded like a wild place when it existed as Edgewater West.

I don't know what I would have done had I found myself there...more than likely out of just dumb circumstantial coincidence. Probably would have an experience worthy of a scene from the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
