Do you think some married men simply like to flirt, or do you think flirting is a sign s/he would go further, if given the opportunity?

I'm not interested. I'm just wondering.
She/he would go further if given the opportunity

To be in a flirty mind he needs to entertain the idea of being with another woman. Same with married women who flirt.
They will cross the bridge for sure. It’s just a matter of when.

@eMortal Now that I put more thought into it, I think you're right.
eMortal · M
@perceptivei The desire is there even if they won’t admit it.

@eMortal Yeah. Makes sense.

I think a lot of people like to flirt, it helps give them some confidence, this includes women.

I don't think flirting alone is a sign they'd go further... as lots of people might flirt, and have zero intentions of going further.

Though sadly, I do believe a large (and growing) percentage of people (both men and women) are more willing to cheat if they think they can get away with it.

I hate it, but that seems to be where it's going, and to my surprise, more and more open relationship (which if they're happy, then good for them, I just don't think I'd be happy sharing with another man).

They’d go further eventually with somebody

Some married men definitely go further than flirting and will cheat on their wife.I know this as a fact because I have had sex with married men. They took the wedding vows not me and the risk of getting caught is completely on them.

With humans there's no telling how far they might go. Today they might feel loyal to their wives and the next they're claiming they're unhappily unmarried hence their reason for flirting with just anybody
ihurtmychin · 26-30, M
a sign of a rotten marriage when one of the couples is looking for a third wheel , better off splitting b4 it gets worse

I think people project their own morals onto others. If you would take advantage of the opportunity, then you propably think others would also.
The ones with more conservative morals don't even consider the exchanges as "opportunities."
I will say, I've always enjoyed a fun/playful interaction with people (esp cute females,), but I'm sure I'd never take it any further than the convo.
Does my ego enjoy the boost, though? Absolutely!!
Well, I don't know how to flirt 😭

Majority of married people who flirt with others would go further.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
That would also apply for ladies?
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@nedkelly Of course, it applies to ladies as well. Personally, I know I've flirted in relationships but wouldn't cheat.

Flirting opens the door to full on affairs
I enjoy flirting. Have no interest in going further
Northwest · M
They flirt hoping it goes further, and if confronted, or shot down, they will claim it's all harmless and you're paranoid, or "woke", or it's that time of the month, so loosen up and stop being such a drag.

I cannot honestly group everyone into one mold and say they will do this or that. Everyone is different and will react differently to opportunities.
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
Fuck that shit! If your not going to be loyal to the person you claim to be dedicated to DONT GET IN A RELATIONSHIP IN THE FIRST PLACE! your not worth it.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
Some guys to flirt, and some do know where the line to not cross is.
I think most are just looking for the opportunity
Some of us just flirt without intention
AbbySvenz · F
Better to flirt than just…. Stare…. 😰
SW-User
Heck they would
SW-User
Probably a little of both, but it’s not correct either way as behavior on his part
Depends on the person.
Bang5luts · M
Asking for a friend? 🤦🏻‍♂️
Tell your friend if he's still married, he'll hold on to that until he can't anymore then he'll need a year or more to get over the failed relationship, and probably a few rebounds before he'll ever be ready to commit to anything stable. Answer for a neighbor ffs 🙄

Not married so rules me out
