How can you get to the thought of (in dating), 'I'm someone worth being with' ?

I think that's my biggest fear and why I never date :( Why I look down if a guy looks at me. I feel if I engage, or start the conversation, or "gasp" ask THEM out, it's like saying " I'm someone to be with ". I feel selfsh thinking that, not to mention, even though it's probably distorted, I feel I'm not even a candidate to date b/c of my chronic PTSD :( (many would / may tire of my inability to do many social events/activities)
Any thoughts welcome. 😢🌹💓 What gave you the confidence to put yourself out there?

You need to be more like Tiffany Lawrence from Silver linings.You have the looks
I still think that tbh.

It's not easy, it's just something you do, take a chance and see what works out.

@Baybreeze They might think you're playing hard-to-get

@uncalled4 Hmmm.. I just thought they'd think I'm rejecting them. When it's really myself that feels unworthy. But there are a few people here that did reply recently to my post on, if they'd give someone a second chance if she was very nervous on a date/hangout etc. And even had to leave. I was surprised that more people than not said they'd really just reassure her, and def. give her another chance.

@Baybreeze Anxiety is something that feeds upon itself.

After all was said, I'll ask myself, "well, I'm still here and didn't die."

If I didn't ask, I would never have known...

i don't know i need to find the core of your insecurity so you can replace it with confidence you know to genuinely think you are a good catch .. is there a particular set of reasons why you think you aren't?
