@FoxyQueen There have been a few but either I’m too wired or they have an agenda. The search goes in.

@SageWanderer well poo! I always end finding people who live more than a day's travel away, or just stop talking to me after a while. Or want to tell me what they want me to do to them which I have zero interest in, unless it entails cleaning my yard, building a chicken coop or doing home maintenance repairs, at which point, they stop talking to me, which was the intention, so we both won.

I've quit looking lol If someone really wants me, they are going to have to come and find me, then show me they want me. Otherwise, friendship works for me.

What kind of agendas do they have besides just enjoying time with someone else? I can't imagine having any other agenda...

@FoxyQueen it’s either; they want to move in with me, help their children out, be a caretaker or try to change me to their liking. It might be because of the age and being retired but that’s been the experience.

@SageWanderer Sheesh. I own my own house and I really don't want anyone I'm in a relationship with moving in with me or vice versa. I love my space.

I hear you about wanting someone to raise their kids. I saw that a lot on a couple dating aps. No thanks. I raised mine. Don't want to raise anyone I didn't bring into the world, unless my kids have kids, but that's different.

The "I can fix him" thing is ew. Lol That's when you get a robot boyfriend so you get exactly what you want.

@FoxyQueen There was one that I thought might work out but she freaked once she saw the crystals, feathers, candles, moon water, spell jars etc.🤣

@SageWanderer Oh dear. Well, I can't say that my surroundings at home haven't bothered a few people as well. Lol

@SageWanderer That's pretty tame really. My living room is starting to look like Howl's Moving Castle with all the witchy stuff. And then there is my kitchen
As you say, it isn't their house, they don't live there, and they can leave at any time.
