Could you date someone who thought they could sing, but really couldn't?

GoddessLinaStardust · 31-35, F
I can't sing and I know it but I'll do it to destress.
exexec · 61-69, C
My wife did in college. He liked to sing "My Girl" to her, even though she was my girl.
JimFarris16 · 18-21, M
@exexec I'm confused.
exexec · 61-69, C
@JimFarris16 She was free to date others since we were attending different universities, but she told all of her dates about me. In fact, all of them made a point to meet me. Still, some tried to steal her from me.
justanothername · 51-55, M
You would have to be pretty shallow to only date people who could sing.
JimFarris16 · 18-21, M
@justanothername Yes, but I meant more of the dilemma whether to ignore or be honest about it.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@JimFarris16 I was being very honest. I can’t sing to save myself yet I’m still happily married.
eventtemple123 · 22-25, M
Yes, if there was a way to subtly teach them how. I know how and could be the teacher.
Yes. Having a singing voice is completely irrelevant
Viper · M
Singing isn't a nessarily to be in a relationship with me.
blackarcher256 · 61-69, M
That would be me!
Paladin · 56-60, M
What does being able to sing have to do with going out with someone?
I just don't get the connection.
JimFarris16 · 18-21, M
@Paladin The dilemma whether to ignore it or try to be honest.
