Did you ever want puppy love?

I had a newfie boyfriend in grade seven named Darren. He would take a 30 minute bus ride every weekend to my house to see me and we would watch tv or walk my dog together. We kissed a couple of times but my dad was around 95% of the time LOL. It was true puppy live but even a really good friendship for like six months.

I saw him one day when I was about 17. He was in the mall sitting on the floor in front of a department store. He looked really sad. I didn’t approach him. Sometimes I wish I had. I still think about him sometimes and hope he’s doing well

my BF n i started going out around the end of high school. been friends since a lot longer though

I didn't have a girlfriend until I was 21 and in college. I wanted a girlfriend in middle school and high school but in retrospect I wasn't ready. I'm not sure I was ready for the one at age 21 either but there it is.

But did you get a puppy? 🙂

I enjoyed puppy love when I was 11 and 12, but was totally blown away when the real thing hit.

Middle school is a tuff maturity age for many boys, might have been a good thing
