How to stop having a crush on someone?

If you’re crushing on someone that means you’ve assumed some sort of idealised character for that person and a narrative/fantasy for how your life together will be. But reality is chaotic and it will never follow exactly what you want, and that person will never live up to your mental image of them.

So do away with fantasies and live day to day with information that you’ve got. Go out and meet other people eventually you’ll find someone more compatible.

Realize that you’re wasting your time

Sometimes along with the rational thoughts that have already been discussed, we need a bit of time for our feelings (or emotional side) to settle. Make sure you give yourself some time too

Think about all the bad things it could lead to.

Realize they can be replaced just like everyone else.

It’s hard to stop it. Eventually reality will win.

Out of sight for long enough to become out if mind? And zero contact of course.
