Oh! He's a decisive man already! I like that in a partner. Only twelve though? Hmmm 🤔

When I was 11, my rich friends started having birthday parties/dances at the country club. All classmates were invited. I got my older sister to help me compose my request for a date with a girl, just a friend. "Judy, would you like to go to XX's birthday party at the country club, Saturday night, at 7:00?" Her sister helped her with the reply, "Yes, I would love to go to X's party with you." It worked so well that I invited her to every party that year, even though we barely spoke at school. I had actual girl friends, but why spoil a good system?

Also hope he knows how to respond nicely if a girl says thanks but no thanks. I’m guessing he will be fine.
