How would you interpret this?

@DavidScottBianchet it's funny how people here interpret this kind of behaviour.
A lot of people suggested there's something wrong with finding the company of a person calming.
I find it very odd given that we know different people project different things.

I think human nature is seriously doomed if you can't see that as a compliment and just a kind gesture.

@Mellowgirl I guess it would depend on the circumstances. For some reason, I was thinking of it in the context of a first date. If you've had several dates, then I don't think it would be as big of a deal.

But this person is basically saying that they are not calm when they aren't with you. I suppose it could be perfectly innocent, or it could be a sign that this person could develop serious dependence issues in an ongoing relationship with you.

And when they aren't "calm," how "uncalm" are they? Just sort of anxious, or potentially violent?
