What was he high on?

Sounds like he was on meth or opioids. Drugs only rip families apart. You need to protect your family and stop seeing him.
If he’s shut off, this has no future. Let him go.

Drop him like a hot potato!

Don’t beat yourself up over it. People on drugs do totally irrational shit. They lie cheat and steal from you to get money for their next hit then they blame you for making them like that then they lie and steal again. Don’t be sucked in.

He gotta go

Seems like a relapse, and he is taking out the frustration on you & the kids.
He needs to get clean, before that please protect yourself from abusive attitude & actions.
Otherwise you will add to the pile of bad memories.
Tell him it's not possible to meet unless he stays clean for a substantial time.
Don't hesitate to turn him out. You're not being harsh on him, but on his addiction.

Just stop it immediately. This is a dangerous situation for your children and you.

I fall into similar traps. We need to address these issues in a constructive way.

Is it your place? If it is, than ask him to go. If you got the place together than tell him you can't and won't be put in that situation ever again. It's you or the road. Be firm make sure you have a person of support (mom, sister, bestfriend, dog) close by (in the living room) while you talk to him in the bedroom privately. I know this type of situation can escalate. Just be cautious about your safety. Have the kids outside the home with relatives just so they aren't exposed to any unnecessary damage

If you truly love him and this is uncharacteristic behavior than he'll make the right choices if given the opportunity. If he doesn't, than he wasn't worth having around. I hope it works out.

Get him out of there and drop his loser azz ASAP! Don’t let him anywhere near your kids!
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
You need to end it. It’s good that you realize that. Just follow through now.
