If you had to choose between dating someone uglier or more attractive than you which one would you pick and why

Uglier. I’d rather get made fun of for being with someone less attractive than being with someone more attractive and have people dm them about me being ugly

Looks are trivial when it comes to my dating options, so I don't really have a good argument for picking either that doesn't boil down to social expectations that are rooted in bullshit anyway.

However, for the sake of playing devil's advocate, if you put any stock into the saying "a person is only as loyal as their options", then the logic would justify picking the conventionally less attractive one.

I don't really go by that logic. I just want someone with brains and integrity, and I'm willing to compromise somewhat when it comes to brains. Looks can be deceiving. Not all that glitters is gold

I would not date someone more attractive, or less attractive then me. I would try to look past the physical appearance and date someone with a good heart and soul. 😇 At my age I can say that and mean it with all my heart, however; I’m not sure my younger self had that type of wisdom. . . 🤔
