but I had not seen my kids in 12 yrs
my first wife hid them from me ,Imagine 23 and you have it all ,and then your kids are taken from you ,,like they vanished off the earth .
I moved on ,finally owned my own company ,a killer band ,a gorgeous wife
but there was always a huge hole in my being .no amount of drugs or alcohol could make me forget ,part of me was gone ,and it was my pride and arrogance that caused it ..some things money just can't buy .
When my health cost me everything ,I got desperate ,and started driving people nuts that I knew could tell me where my kids were .
And one night I get a call ,its my daughter ,someone gave her my number
I got to watch her walk with her class when she graduated ,
and both of her sisters when it was their time and now 2 grandkids also .
(2 more to go ,and my son ,he is just 10 )
I got to see 2 become nurses ,and now I have 5 grandkids
NO amount of money could buy what I have
2 of greatest words in the world (Father -God )
Daddy - thats me ,,oh and Papaw ,I love that one too
But Nothing can make my heart sing like hearing Daddy ,especially when its from my 35 yr old I now have back in my life .

Money can only buy you so much ,,then you get as bored as everyone else
why else would a lady who owned it all want me
because I could build anything she wanted ,or run it for her
but I would have just been another toy ,,I know alot about toys
I used to own a lot of them myself ,,
Now I know happiness ,my family and my faith ,they make me happy
money ,never could ,I just bought better drugs and alcohol with it
I was trying to forget ,I was a Dad who lost his kids

@popmol Well, no. not a good place at all. but eventually drugs catch up with you. Still, shes a neat lady with a lot of great stories. Shes lived an interesting life. Still, I think she could pull off the gold digger thing is she really wanted to still.
You know she used to do this thing - and I still don't know what it really was - she would leave for a week, sometimes two, and always come home with 5,00.00. Supposedly modeling trips. I can;t decide if she was a drug mule or is she was doing porn. And it is not as though I'm going to ask her. That would be rude. 😁

@popmol Then I still wouldn’t be in it just for the cash. I would feel bad taking advantage of anyone’s money, rich or poor. Would rather have my own stuff and not owe nothing to anyone.
