@CultOfPersonality good! I think. I think we cliqued and everything, he ended up being like 30 minutes late to go play pool with his friends cause we were sitting in my car talking. We didn’t get very flirty or anything which idk worries me a bit but I’m not naturally very flirty so maybe he just isn’t either. We did have a pretty long hug at the end but that’s about it. If he has time we might meet up tomorrow, cause after that he has to travel for work and will be gone for a week

@Justcurious86 went well, we’re still talking. He had to leave for a week for work but he’ll be back on Thursday. My friend who stays with me most days (she’s homeless, but can’t stay more than 3 nights in a row due to my rental agreement, so every 4th night she tries to find someone else to stay with) is also gone for a week (long story) and doesn’t get back till Saturday. I’m hoping he’ll be able to come over 👀 either Thursday or Friday, he says he’s usually pretty busy the week he gets back so we’ll see

@jackrabbit10 My two partners have been younger. I haven't found women around my age are interested, and women significantly (10 or more yrs) younger are usually out because they'll all want stuff I can't provide (based on experiences of dating up to last year when I stopped). I'm 56, so 'age gap' is different than when I was in my 20's and 30's.

@Zeuro Hinge, like Tinder, Bumble, etc. are designed to fully advantage women over men. Tinder lets anyone match with anyone, Bumble makes a woman 'make the first move', Hinge requires mutual matching. Still terrible for men.

@zonavar68 no it’s not that they’re designed to advantage women over men. By design it’s quite egalitarian, on Tinder and Hinge. With Bumble it forces women to make the first move, which can be argued as advantageous to either gender. It just ends up that way because more men use these apps and men are by nature more desperate. At least if you’re looking for hookups that is. Women often complain of the lack of men looking for serious relationships. But ask yourself, why is an egalitarian platform that treats men and women the same disadvantageous for men? Think about it, and you’ll realize it’s not the apps themselves that are the problem.

@DrawntoaDistance I don’t put Emo and punk together. The OP just mentioned them together. It’s really the Emo I questioned as a personality, not a musical preference. The Emo I’m referring to is the dyed black hair, isolationist, macabre personality type. That’s something an individual typically grows out of after high school.

@Adogslife it’s just his personal style it’s not that deep. He wears lots of black and eyeliner sometimes
