Why are people so intrigued by serial killers

@SW-User It's really sad. Just like media pushes mafia on us all the time. Why giving them so much fame? I don't understand.

@DarkSideoftheMoon At least The Godfather gave people idea that Sicilian mafia has at least some moral rules. When you say mafia here it's a gang of gangsters who only get together to enrich themselves and there's literally nothing saint to them. A bunch of cut-thoats affiliated with politicians.

@DarkSideoftheMoon my kids lived in Sicily for 3 years. The mafia is real no but functions more like a big corporation.

@samueltyler2 i was told they would demand money from businesses in return for protection or whatever and if they didnt pay the mafia they would cause problems but not sure how true that is. My grandparents were from Sicily but i never been

@DarkSideoftheMoon That's pretty much how mafia worked in 90s in every post soviet/socialist country in Europe. If you opened a restaurant or café, a bunch of "big boys" came and if you didn't want to have a talk with them, they took all available seats for hours without ordering anything and just waited.. For example.

@DarkSideoftheMoon They are nothing but disgusting parasites. They won't work themselves but will suck money out of people who take personal financial risks to bring new interesting services to others and arrogantly claim they offer protection. Yeah, protection from themselves.

@CrazyMusicLover awful. Gangs do that in the US too to small corner shops. Ive seen it happen and when they dont pay they throw a brick through the windows

@DarkSideoftheMoon the mafia though, made an industry of it. Just try to park your car, a little kid comes up and offers to protect your car.
