For a people who invented the language, they can’t seem to speak it very well. Mispronouncing words like aluminum and adding extra letters in words like color. Silly brits 😆

@Zaphod42 The English language is mostly German.

@hunkalove it’s an amalgam of 5 or 6 different languages, but is heavily based on Latin.

@Zaphod42 Ally-mini-yum. “This Aston Martin Zed has tons of kit and is made of allly-mini-yum.” First time I heard Jeremy Clarkson say that on Top Gear I thought it was made of some new modern metal. “Tons of room in the boot and a naturally aspirated 4.8 liter V10 under the bonnet.”
