What surprising differences have you found between the UK and U.S? [I Am English]

Well...they don’t know what cookies are calling them biscuits and elevators calling them lifts, and lastly they don’t know what apartments are calling them flats and on and on. If we get them them straightened out in this English business. LOL just kiddin

For a people who invented the language, they can’t seem to speak it very well. Mispronouncing words like aluminum and adding extra letters in words like color. Silly brits 😆

@Zaphod42 Ally-mini-yum. “This Aston Martin Zed has tons of kit and is made of allly-mini-yum.” First time I heard Jeremy Clarkson say that on Top Gear I thought it was made of some new modern metal. “Tons of room in the boot and a naturally aspirated 4.8 liter V10 under the bonnet.”
