I think if people are wearing the hairstyle in appreciation of the culture then that would be okay.
If they are wearing it to mock or make fun of African American culture then no, they should not.

@iamonfire696 Right. I think you can honor and respect a culture by learning and taking part in it. Generally, I think wearing a kind of hair style means you think it looks good.

@caPnAhab I agree with you. I saw a white girl on TikTok wearing braids and she didn’t respect the culture at all even though she loved the braids.
People tried to tell her how to care for them, black people told her what she would need to do to so she wouldn’t damage her hair. She was a know it all and wouldn’t listen to them.
She has very long hair and guess who lost most of it because she thought she knew what she was doing. She mocked African Americans and they had a laugh at her after.
