Someone Calling It Like It Is

"Sadly, mass/school shootings are a natural extension of indigenous genocide (settler-colonialism), public lynchings of black people by mobs and police (white supremacy), the brutalization of workers (capitalism), an obsession with controlling women's bodies (patriarchy), and an unquestioned obedience to war and violence (imperialism).

In other words, terrorism and cowardly domination are deeply-embedded characteristics of Amerikkkan culture. The capitalist ruling class (which includes the US government) has been one of the main drivers of this culture for over two centuries, so calling for their policies to correct these ills is naive and grossly inadequate. They benefit, and have enriched themselves, from this culture. And even if their policy could effect positive change, none of this will concern them until the violence starts directing itself upwards and targeting lives they deem valuable. For now, the victims are just collateral damage necessary for maintaining the Amerikkkan way of life and, thus, not worthy of action."

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout The ancient Greeks considered a large penis to be a sign of stupidity, as the focus was taken away from matters of the mind.
