I rarely talk about UK issues but feel like it needs to be said

There's video of this elsewhere so I can likely find it I just don't want to right now but basically there's large anti migrant protests right now due to events. Well apparently there's a viral incident that happened where a woman spoke up and said that women were being randomly assaulted by white men and she basically called the crowd racist. When she was assaulted it was by white guys.

The crowd then tossed her off stage, they tried to force silence her in order to feed the anti migrant narrative. It was all good until she countered the narrative.

Someone then produced this meme that found the anti migrant protesters in UK are largely being arrested for domestic assault and in large numbers too:

But I've noticed that the same thing has happened with the Jan 6thers in the United States. There's around now 40 "freedom fighters," who have gotten arrested for crimes ranging from domestic abuse, child stuff, and vandalism.

Which leads me to being very disturbed that these abusers in large numbers are trying to shift public perception as the public can't dig into these people's personal backgrounds but a striking overwhelming number of them are domestic abusers or child abusers.

Statistically that's disturbing.

Also here's a good analysis by AI in which is related to a report that was badly misconstrued by anti migrant activists:

In a landmark national audit on grooming gangs, Baroness Louise Casey found that the ethnicity of perpetrators is not recorded for two-thirds of cases.

Authorities historically avoided documenting these details due to flawed data collection methods and the fear of being labeled racist, resulting in an institutional failure to protect victims.

Key findings and methodologies regarding ethnicity reporting include:

Massive Data Gaps:

Ethnicity is absent from national records for the majority of offenders. In areas where data is recorded, it frequently relies on broad classifications or police observations rather than self-defined identity.

Disproportionate Local Trends:

Where thorough self-defined and police-recorded ethnicity data was scrutinized (such as in Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire), the audit found a disproportionate number of suspects and offenders from Asian backgrounds.

Previous Flawed Studies:

Prior to the Casey Audit, organizations relied on restricted or inconsistent datasets, such as a 2020 Home Office study. These older, highly criticized records often used conflicting methodologies, with some datasets finding offenders to be predominantly white and others pointing to a higher representation of Black and Asian offenders relative to their national demographic.

Avoidance of Scrutiny:

Baroness Casey’s report concluded that the authorities' refusal to investigate the intersection of ethnicity, culture, and systemic abuse was driven by "blindness, ignorance, prejudice, and a reluctance to confront uncomfortable truths," which allowed many criminals to evade justice.

To address these failings, the UK government has launched a full statutory national inquiry to examine the role of ethnicity and culture, while the National Crime Agency investigates past safeguarding failures

So rape is cool when done by Abdul?
peterlee · M
@Munumbis Rape is not acceptable in any society. The sentences are far too lenient in the UK.
Waveney · M
@Munumbis No, but the British media seem to be cool when rape is done by any White person.

It’s happening because the AI across all social media platforms is extremely right wing biased. The AI censorship monitors every open chat in real time and being extremely right wing biased means it doesn’t pull up or ban any form of misleading hate speech which allows baseless or misleading comments to take on a life of their own and go viral within minutes without any guard rails in place.

I say this because I regularly see the AI restricting pro democracy comments and videos on TikTok which is owned by Micheal Ellison who is a big supporter and backer of Trump. I’ve had plenty of my own comments that call Melania Trump an Epstein girl and Trump a PDF. Those comments are true but the TikTok AI instantly flags them as being against community guidelines Aka Anti Trump comments.

@justanothername on Instagram they do it too, I've noticed that. They know they can't win without all that psyops they do

Wow, everywhere you go there is racism. I knew about here in USA but I didn’t know UK too. smh

@sree251 That allegation is just totally untrue and offensive. At least the UK never had apartheid laws.

@ArishMell Sree is right to a certain extent. Racism in its present form only really took hold in the states when British colonialists used it as a divide and conquer tactic to prevent "negroes", Native Americans, and the White working class from banding together against their masters. The States obviously exported it but you could argue that Britiain is the "mother" of modern racism.

@Waveney I take your point but prejudice has likely always been around. It may not always have been a matter of melanin; but a matter of fear and hatred of anyone "different".

The "white working class" were not all entirely in Britain either, hence events like the French Revolution.

Not sure if it applies here but one thing I have found in life is this... Those that are constant accusers of others are often offenders themselves....

It applies everywhere. We are all humans.

@Convivial There's a good proverb, I think from China but forgot now. It says to beware of those constantly accusing others of lying, for they, are almost always, liars.

Not really sure where I heard it from but it reminded me of your comment just now and was the first thing that popped into my brain.

It's wise advice.

@SatanBurger yeah, I know I'm not the first one to draw that conclusion... And when you look at a certain Pennsylvania Avenue resident 😜
