I rarely talk about UK issues but feel like it needs to be said
There's video of this elsewhere so I can likely find it I just don't want to right now but basically there's large anti migrant protests right now due to events. Well apparently there's a viral incident that happened where a woman spoke up and said that women were being randomly assaulted by white men and she basically called the crowd racist. When she was assaulted it was by white guys.
The crowd then tossed her off stage, they tried to force silence her in order to feed the anti migrant narrative. It was all good until she countered the narrative.
Someone then produced this meme that found the anti migrant protesters in UK are largely being arrested for domestic assault and in large numbers too:
But I've noticed that the same thing has happened with the Jan 6thers in the United States. There's around now 40 "freedom fighters," who have gotten arrested for crimes ranging from domestic abuse, child stuff, and vandalism.
Which leads me to being very disturbed that these abusers in large numbers are trying to shift public perception as the public can't dig into these people's personal backgrounds but a striking overwhelming number of them are domestic abusers or child abusers.
Statistically that's disturbing.
Also here's a good analysis by AI in which is related to a report that was badly misconstrued by anti migrant activists:

In a landmark national audit on grooming gangs, Baroness Louise Casey found that the ethnicity of perpetrators is not recorded for two-thirds of cases.
Authorities historically avoided documenting these details due to flawed data collection methods and the fear of being labeled racist, resulting in an institutional failure to protect victims.
Key findings and methodologies regarding ethnicity reporting include:
Massive Data Gaps:
Ethnicity is absent from national records for the majority of offenders. In areas where data is recorded, it frequently relies on broad classifications or police observations rather than self-defined identity.
Disproportionate Local Trends:
Where thorough self-defined and police-recorded ethnicity data was scrutinized (such as in Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire), the audit found a disproportionate number of suspects and offenders from Asian backgrounds.
Previous Flawed Studies:
Prior to the Casey Audit, organizations relied on restricted or inconsistent datasets, such as a 2020 Home Office study. These older, highly criticized records often used conflicting methodologies, with some datasets finding offenders to be predominantly white and others pointing to a higher representation of Black and Asian offenders relative to their national demographic.
Avoidance of Scrutiny:
Baroness Casey’s report concluded that the authorities' refusal to investigate the intersection of ethnicity, culture, and systemic abuse was driven by "blindness, ignorance, prejudice, and a reluctance to confront uncomfortable truths," which allowed many criminals to evade justice.
To address these failings, the UK government has launched a full statutory national inquiry to examine the role of ethnicity and culture, while the National Crime Agency investigates past safeguarding failures
