Are Black people doing all they can to help the Black community?

Why do White people have to do more than anyone else to help the Black community?

White People don't have to really do much of anything to help the Black Community except support a Free Society. That's what the Black Community really wants. Most Blacks dont want a Government Handout or any Entitlement at all.

The best answer to this question or any other question for the Black Community is to leave us alone so we can take care of ourselves and Families. The Black Community does not need White People, the Nanny-State Government, or anyone else to make decisions about what we should be able to do with our own lives, we are more than capable of doing that for ourselves. Why should we even be contemplating anything of the sort from Others who are outside our Community to begin with?!

Once we get the Woolly Mammoth without the Charm aka Big Government off our Backs, out of our Wallets, and out of our Lives; This isn’t even a question to be asked since everything else will take care of itself for the Black and Brown Community...

well for one its not up to white people to help us, we are NOT a charity case! it is up to us to stop killing each other and destroying our communities

Since 1963 the US has spent over 66 trillion to HELP blacks. May as well flushed down toilet.

it is a good question. I think we are too segregated for any help to really take hold . When you, I and anyone look for help anywhere we thiink of our community. Our neighbors, for religious people their church, school, people with shared hobbies. Some shared idenitiy.

The problem with black and non black communities ii the lack of integreation which both races share fault in and include:
1) blacks often live in black neighborhoods
2) blacks go to black churchs (and whites to to white churches)
3) blacks often go to black schools, even at the college level
4) tblacks have an black identiy for music, BBQ, and hobies that further segregates

At this level of segreation and diminished shared community it is hard to really help one another. I think slow but steady integration is a neccessary first step before we can even really seriously look at "what can whites " do to help the black community.

On a sidenote the idea of black community and cuture is awesome. They certainly gifted much of the USA (I am assuming you are American) with amazing music from disco, to motown to other types of music and dance ( I stilll love soul train tv show) to other forms of art.

But some integration, cutureally speaking is a neccessary first step before we can even really look at a question like "do white people do enough to help black people"

We've done enough already. It's up to them now.

No. The universal rights and entitlements that we agree on seem to elude the people of the global north.

Ensure our police department officials stay tru to their job and not profile and targets black Americans just because they are black. Hold them to a higher standard, to serve and protect everyone, regardless of race. Vote to elect the good, not just the rich and powerful. It starts with us.

Stop interfering. It is not the White's fault nor is it the Whites job to help the Black. Everyone is responsible for their own life and the outcome thereof.

I don't think so. Reparations should have been paid a long time ago. But it is great to see people of color thriving and growing even under a racist system fighting to keep them down.

The people who have some sort of white guilt have done enough. At the end of the day ,cold yet true, no one owes ANY community anything.
