One of the dumbest considerations are a cash based reparation to people who have or will experience slavery which would be funded by people who were never involved or will be to slavery
@specman in all fairness, a lot of the current generation's wealth inherited from previous generations originates in slavery. (Generally speaking of course. I know that's not true for every individual.) Just because the people currently alive didn't employ slaves personally, doesn't mean they didn't profit from slavery or don't owe slaves anything.

@specman And here we go again. Was your family in the United States in the '60s? '70s? Then yes, they benefited from slavery.
