Ahmma Powit and Don't Nowit

The Tiny Vampire
by LadyGrace

There once was a mosquito named Lou,
Who jumped me as I left the Zoo
He’d buzz by my ear,
Like, “Dinner is here!”
Then vanish the second I flew!

At 2 a.m. sharp he’d arrive,
The loudest small thing still alive.
He'd BZZZZ by my head,
As I smacked the whole bed,
While Lou did a victory dive.

I hunted with slipper and light,
Prepared for a glorious fight.
But that sneaky black clown
Would never sit down—
A Ninja that flew through the night!

He landed right onto my knee,
Like, “Ma’am, this buffet’s fancy-free.”
I slapped with great power…
With a face that looked sour—
But bruised myself quite expertly.

At sunrise I finally won…
Or thought so. The battle seemed done!
Then I heard in my ear:
“Round two, sweetheart, dear…”
Then found there where TWO, not just One! 🦟🤣

Beautifully written, hilarious too.

Remember, Grace, bugs are prolific.
And to BE now a BIT more specific:
Their doubling rate
Goes 2, 4, then 8!
Their gonads are surely terrific!

Haha
Mosqitoes don't last long. Our endurance already make them powerless

@DanielsASJ

Yes, but they leave their mark(s).
