So Creationist, you believe the earth is 6000 years old and that dinosaurs died in Noah's flood. Can you explain this?

Iridium is an element which is very rare in the Earth's crust but very abundant at the sites of meteorite impacts.
There is a worldwide layer of iridium located at the geological layer which is conventionally dated to about 65 million years ago, the time when dinosaurs disappear from the fossil record and when a massive asteroid impacted what is now the Yucatan peninsula.

So...if dinosaurs actually died in a a big flood, why do they all disappear at the same time when a massive impact event seems to have occurred?
How does a flood produce iridium?

Y'all don't have to answer, just take it into consideration when you're considering the true history of our planet and whether your interpretation of the Bible is coherent with the evidence.

If you want a laugh try https://www.morrowcountysentinel.com/news/20487/pastor-column-bible-tells-truth-about-dinosaurs. Baby dinosaurs on the Ark!! LOL
@Maturebate

lol it's like he did his best to curate every shallow, ignorant and factually inaccurate creationist apologetic he could find.
@Maturebate It's hard to believe he's serious but then I think about what creationist say here.

So, I’m not a Christian. But, you realize that framing any of your arguments for Earth Science outside of the scope of the generally accepted viewpoints by Creationist isn’t going to do anything, right? The moment you say 65 million years - they’ve lost interest.
Warranted, I see you’re leaning against traditional interpretations of the Bible rather than spitefully debasing any pseudo-religious claim, so that’s good at least. I just don’t think you’ll encourage balanced debate with a post like this 🤷🏻‍♀️
@Sirsnowman

Thanks😉

Hurray, polio is back in America! Thanks, anti-vaxxers!
The polio virus has been found in London too.

About 40 years ago in the UK (possibly elsewhere too) there was a scare regarding the pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine. Many parents didn't have their children vaccinated against it because "What's the point? You never hear or whooping cough these days." It wasn't long before there was an outbreak of it.
@Sharon

Vaccines are the victim of their own success.
They've worked so well that people have forgotten how much they owe to them.

"God can do anything, so we don't need to believe ANY science we don't like, heathen."

Yep !! God made the Earth flatten so Christopher Columbus could find America, but then when his crew didn’t go to Sunday school God punished them and gave them all Syphilis. This helped create MAGA @ChipmunkErnie

This clearly sounds like a calendar based misunderstanding.
@Ferric67

lol perhaps
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
Maybe some 🦕 are still here?
@BackyardShaman

Well there are birds...but other than that there's no good evidence that any other dinosaurs survived.
