@Pikachu The reason I replied was because of the insults you were using about people who don’t believe like you. Stop insulting us or grow up would be even better. You didn’t want an honest discussion.

Yeah i can't tell if she's being facetious or if she genuinely doesn't understand.
I think probably the former but you never can tell. I have in the year of our lord 2022 had creationists earnestly come at me with "well if we evolved from apes then why are there still apes?"

lol yeah it was only reading back that i think she was offended by the perspective that many evolution-denying creationists don't understand evolution very well...but that's not an insult, that's my real world experience.

Is it fair to say that questioning atheists' opinions, or claiming that they can have no moral code, but not OK for an atheist to challenge a statement that contradicts observed reality?

I think it's childish! If I am upset I tell people directly how I feel, or I challenge their claims. I have never said atheists have no moral code! I post what the Bible says here.
