It took him 7 days to create the world

@Pikachu The main thing about Jobs story is that Satan challenged God. He said Job would no longer love him if he lost everything. God showed him that Job would still love him. I’m no scholar so I don’t know why he accepted the challenge and not much about what is known as the war in Heaven but I know he defeated Satan who would go on to his final defeat when Jesus died for us on the cross.
I would not want my family to die and I don’t think a new one replacing the old is the same but if Job hadn’t lost everything, God wouldn’t have defeated Satan. Bible scholars are who you need to ask that question. Fair or unfair is not for me to say. I bow to Gods decision when it comes to my family. He created us so yes he has the right to do with us what he will.

So Satan has already been fully defeated? Finally. 2200 years ago. No more supreme evil to be concerned about. Missed that part of history.

Good grief! What a bunch of baloney. Cause we all know people got no learning that believe differently from you. Things evolve. No one rejects that. But a monkey being my great grandpa? Who bumped you on the head when you were a baby? Sorry! But sometimes…..

@Carazaa I'll admit that I'm somewhat abrupt, but that's who I am. But when I ask a question, or make a comment, I do so in order to firstly obtain more information and, secondly, to make the other person think about their position.
I welcome similar interactions from others. I like to engage in a lively discussion, one where both sides are willing to step outside their comfort zones.

@Bushranger Sure, I do too. However, I don't like to engage at all if there are personal attacks. That's just me. I love to debate Biblical issues. I don't think I personally attack people, but I confront those who do, and I will always defend those who are attacked. And I do rather assertively.

@Carazaa It is a matter of interpretation I suppose. To me, questioning someone's statements and even beliefs, is not a personal attack. Particularly if that person has claimed they have the only possible truth.

The bible contradicts reality.
visual diversity for instance, throws the evolutionary baby out with the bathwater

don't you reject evolution yourself? i'd think someone so Pro-Evolution would be a Raichu by now.
