Oil yes, but I think an even bigger reason is just his insatiable ego. He wants to be the strong, powerful leader and boast about it as much as possible.

Didn’t India just bomb Kashmir? Of course America’s interventions in Venezuela raises concerns but c’mon every country acts in self interest when it can. Doesn’t India justify military pressure on Pakistan the same way? Everyone criticising America without looking in the mirror- it feels a little selective don’t you think?

I just saw that the Prez contacted oil companies and told them if they wanted to get back in they had to be ready to upgrade the failing infrastructure.

And now he says the US will be running the country until it can be turned over to the Venuela people.

Sounds like the old days to me.
